Good advice Big ED. Thanks for the video.
15 psi?
–ounces per inch wrench?–15 pounds? —no mention of eye relief—um and ah are not words—you can't tell by eye if the scope is level—no use of a laser bore sight—the diameter of scope is 1-inch—scope is so far forward you can't grab the charging handle easily—This guy isn't qualified to tie his own shoes.my p 223 lost its front o ring after 250-300 rds. keep warranty card and receipt. if you go to nikon website says you need both of these for warranty. getting a scope with a no strings attached warranty for another 40$
15 PSI??? I stopped at that point.
good video. I always appreciate when someone takes the time and posts an informative video. I watched and learned and effectively mounted my scope witch used the same mounts and the other p 223 scope.
Does this scope track well and repeatable?
Creeped me out at 9:08 "I'm preeeeeeeety good with my fingers." Hahahaha!
what size allen wrenches are needed?
I bought the same mounts and they won't go on my picatinny rail. They're way too tight.
what kind of mounts are those?
Thanks for the video – used it while installing the P-223 on my BCM.
Nice vid… But you do not measure torque in PSI sir
Thanks for the vid. Will this particular setup allow for folding back up sights?
you mention at the start it is a 30mm barrel, is that correct or is it 1 inch?
I mounted my Nikon p223 on a Burris PEPR (proper eye position ready) mount. Easy on and off quickly and holds zero everytime. Just my two cents
How do you operate the charging handle? There is no visible clearance there.
I have the single mount M-series. Seems fine. Would you recommend taking them back and getting the P-series?
I just bought the same scope. When i aim at the target and turn the turret knobs i dont see any movement? Is this normal or a defected scope?
Thanks for reply Ed. If you could do a review on your new scope and the zero hold turret operation that would be great.
Any chance you can do a tutorial on how to set up the zero stop on that scope? TY
Installed exactly this scope/mount today…I tried to eyeball 3 times till I finally got it REALLY CLOSE to being right (wink). We'll see where the 1st shot goes…
Before you finish tightening down and hit the range, don't you want to put rifle back together and check the eye relief distance to fit YOU, the way YOU hold the rifle? Or not?
just ordered the Nikon P300 scope and the P mounts for my 300AAC flat top AR
cant wait good looking scope
kinda spoiled with my Leapold VX3 3.5X10 40mm on my Remington 270
allot of good reviews tho on the Nikon P series will find out soon
Marine Corps vet here, pretty good on instructing. Keep up the good work.
Thank you I plan to keep them coming
All of your riffle education and loading videos are very much helpful; keep up the great work bud.
