Great Glass and probably decent construction. However this is poor design and bad execution on a 1-4 power "Tactical Scope". Big honkin' target turrets on a 1 – 4 power scope? MOA adjustments on a Milliradian Reticle? No BDC? No Illumination? So what, are you just supposed to whip out a MilMaster and dial in the firing solution while ranging with the Mil Reticle and doing MOA to Mil conversion math in your head in order to make a 400 yard snap shot on a target of opportunity??? Please, much as i love Nikon's great glass this is just laughable competition to something like the Primary Arms 1-6 ACSS reticle. Its like whoever designed this scope over at Nikon's R&D facility never bothered to look at what competitions was doing, traveled to a three gun match, or talked with real flesh and blood end users of these scopes. It looks and acts like something designed by a Committee sitting around a table and each person wanting to see their idea or feature on the final product.
