We got our hands on one of EOTech‘s newest products, a variant of the XPS2, the (Z) model aka, Zombie Stopper. We put her through some shooting and you can see why we like EOTech and hope they create more reticle styles soon!

not distracting at all. You focus so much on the dot and the target, especially if you shoot both eyes open.
I'm looking into getting one of theses, however the one thing that is worrying me is the reticle on it is going to be distracting as opposed to just a red dot, like on an aimpoint. After shooting it what do you think?
ummm, not that I am aware of. It's a holographic sight which means there is a reticle on glass to faster acquire targets. It has no bearing on your ability to see in the dark unfortunately. Unless you are a wolf. Always be a wolf.
can it act like a flash light? i read somewhere that it can "light up the darkness" letting you "peer into the night"

I saw these really cool zombie targets at Walmart, but my local county range won't let me use "human" targets.. bummer. That's awesome that you can use them..
Great review on the Eotech. I'm still undecided on this one or the Aimpoint Micro T1.
All the EOtech stuff is awesome especially for inside 100m even though we have used it further. The cool part about it is you can always add a magnifier with a flip to side mount or whatever your needs may be. Thanks for watching!
I never thought of a productive prospective to put to the whole zombie thing outside of marketing but that is actually a good point. None the less it was a nice optic we had fun with the review and the video.
"Zombies" is a nice non-offensive/alarming way of addressing the very real need to be capable of handling threats in the form of large numbers who have gone barbaric–examples in recent memory being the LA Riots and looting during Hurricane Katrina. Large population areas do put one at risk of being faced with that kind of threat.
I like the optic. The same in function as my EOTech 512 only a little more pricey. I like the XPS it is a fantastic optic, rather you want the bio hazard symbol or the standard 65 moa ring without the pieces of flare is up to you. Let us know how you make out.
Im debating getting this, but it looks so unprofessional, yet so fun.
