nice review I have the same one but with the green laser and I use it on a rifle I was wondering if you would happen to know how many inch pounds to torque it down to keep a consistent zero with a laser
I want this for a duty holster but my holster uses the TLR-1S would this fit in that holster???
Thanks for the video. I am a little concerned with your muzzle control though as the weapon is still live and you are waving it around.
Your neighbors are officially freaked out…. from all the lights.
Just ordered one of these for a sidemount Picatinny UTG PRO rail for my AK-47. Great review, will let you know what I think of mine! Cheers.
you must be rich huh lol cheers
tlr-2 worth it?
I know this is an old review but Im behind the times, I just put a stream light TLR-2G on my Beretta 92, at 300 lumens its plenty of light for a pistol, but the laser adjustment uses allen set screws inside what looks like brass bushings for friction, their are no detents like a scope, and I have not gotten the laser to hold a zero, in fact the elevation adjustment screw will turn completely out of the friction area before it is zeroed, every magazine I ran through the pistol the laser would be in a different place, not sure if I should return it, or if all of them are like that.

Have you shot with the TLR 2G? Looking for a laser/light combo for my G20 and I'm sold on Streamline but want to know if there is that noticeable difference between the red laser and green laser. Especially considering the difference in price between them. Im finding average prices for the 2g around $400+ and for the 2 with the red laser $270+. Thats a big jump in price for laser color.
Love this light. I have the HL model which is 630 lumens. I have the contour switch on it so I don't have to worry about switching the light on in stressful situations.
Thanks for the video. I see the elevation adjustment is marked, where is the windage adjustment located?
what is the difference between the TLR-2 and TLR-4? I have a glock 19.
No false advertising**
Roman@ no advertising, they make the tlr2 which is 300 lm and the tlr2 HL which is 630 lumens and also has a strobe…me personally for price and everything you get I go with streamlight over surefire as well unless your talking about a pocket light, then I run surefire all day. Hope this helps

Meant to say 300 lumens
On streamlight website it says it goes up to 630 lumens are they false advertising?
The TLR2 has plenty of lumens for HD. If you want a light/laser combo the X400 or TLR2 are tough to beat.
looking for a light or light/laser for my glock…what do you recommend? light and laser or just light? x300, tlr-2 170 lumens or 500 lumens for home defense???
If you like toggles on your carbines—sure.
Would you run this on a carbine?
I fully understand that and think for most people (most people don't train enough…..). The big advantage I see for proficient shooters if unorthodox positions…
im not a fan of lasers at all (I think they are a crutch) but now that I wear glasses I keep this light on my night stand gun I have shot with out my glasses at the range and I can see the laser perfectly and put the rounds where they are needed
