12-20-17 I picked up a Streamlight TLR-1HL light and I have to say I am impressed. You get a lot of light out of this little bugger. It mounts and unmounts quickly and uses easy to find CR123A batteries. It does get hot and I don’t know what would happen if you ever put it in a drawer and had it go on accidently. The hottest it got over a 1 hour and 45 minute test was 130 degree F. when I tested it. You could touch the light but it was too hot to hold on to for any length of time.
