Hey all,
Streamlight follows through on their warranty process. I had these three examples warrantied and it did not cost me a dime. I am not sure the intricacies behind this procedure as most of the grunt work was carried out by my Snap-on Dealer. Details are as follows:
[Warranty: Case-by-case]
Exhibit A: Blue Stinger DS LED; Issue: End cap button rubber cracked; Fix: Replacement end cap button. Cost=$0.00
Exhibit B: Black Stinger LED HL; Issue: Destroyed head & broken lens, internal fault; Fix: New Components; Cost=$0.00
Exhibit C: Black Stinger DS; Issue: Internal Fault; handle smashed; missing button rubber; Fix: BRAND NEW internals, lens, and handle/body; Cost = $0.00
[Summary]
If you have a faulty light that you need fixing, contact your dealer and see what he/she can do to fix the issue. Streamlight Stinger variants (in this example LED HL/DS LED) have a Lifetime Warranty.
