I own a 512 the disadvantage is in front of a magnifier doesn't leave the control buttons accessible. I wish I would've bought ESP2-0

I might get one of these or another Aimpoint pro. Just sucks that these only have 1,000 hour battery life vs Aimpoints 30,000 hours
I just opened mine up, it appears that it is in fact blurry. Feels like two rings are overlapping.
(I realize that your video is from 2013) —-but I 'just got' an Eotech 512, and it is awesome. I don't see me getting into 'night vision' anytime soon due to the high cost, so the 512 is perfect. Looking at the G33 magnifier next. Thanks for the video–it was one of the videos that contributed to me buying the 512.
My 512 is awesome. The only issue is sometimes I lose my center dot if I'm shooting at those orange round circles. I think it's more my eyes losing focus though.
Damn thing falls off my firearms….

I have the 512 on two of my ar's an i love them. They just make the whole shooting experience a lot more fun and also I found them to be very user friendly for new shooters

for the sake of nomenclature the EOTech is a holographic sight. a holographic sight and a red dot sight are not the same thing. just saying.

They are blury if suffer from astigmatism like me. Brought mine, exited as. Open it up turn it on. WTF?? It's fuzzy as. Solution. = eotech magnifier or glasses/lenses. I was really gutted. Astigmatism effects 30 percent of people too!!
