The Caldwell AR-15 MagCharger has become a staple in my range tools. Although you won’t be replacing your UpLula with it, its still a very good option for speed loading.

  1. I got one of these for Christmas and just began messing around with it today. It only took a few minutes to figure out how to use it and I was loading mags. There is no reason to slam the plunger like he was doing in the video. I think the way he was hitting it actually was causing most of his issues. Don't judge this product by this review only.

  2. Why are you hitting the plunger like an ape? If you hold from both sides you can smoothly "plunge" the rounds in without excessive smashing on the tool. Yikes! Your gear must not last very long.

  3. Transfer from your typical 20 round box, to tray or directly, then load your 30 round mag, then partially load second 30 round mag, repeat.. I suspect i could thumb mags faster.. actually I know I can. Had one, sold it..
