The NEW AR-15 Complete Owner’s Guide:

Another relatively newer shooter to long range. BCM SS410 16″ upper with PSA lower and stock trigger shooting from 430 to 675 yards. 77gr CBC OTM 5.56mm ammo. Nikon is the 3-9x version that has a built in BDC reticle, but we’re dialing elevation.

  1. I know this is an old video but the rifle in my safe that gets shot the most has a 20 inch BCM barrel on it. Bravo Company makes good kit. Mine is the chrome lined .gov profile. I can get an honest 3/4 to 1 MOA until the barrel gets hot. Strangely enough, when the barrel does heat up, the group doesn't walk, it just gets bigger, while the group center remains the same. At its worst its a 2 MOA affair.

  2. I am gonna try this scope or the PA, haven't decided yet since I am still waiting on my barrel. I went with a Ballistic Advantage 18" 1×8 Premium Barrel, they had them on sale, I have basically the same rifle setup as your running, with the VTAC Alpha 13. I ordered a Noveske Swivel Stud to add the bipod, I figure it will be the lightest way to go

  3. Great video!!! you are spot on with your DOPE can you show us what data you record. I am building a book now for my SPR and need some tips on what data you have found to most successful with.

  4. You guys think you could try using the BDC reticle and see how well it works? I got same scope but only have 250 yards range. Does well out to 250 yards. Just wonder how well it works out to longer distances. Thanks
