Horrible video description. Disliked.
I thought this was a video to help me clean and or disassemble my 9mm bolt. Not to explain the function and design of every single part of a 9mm and .223 bolt.
Just built an ar9 and the firing pin is sticking with only about 40 rounds through it.
Do you have any experience with New Frontier Armory modular BCG? I have one and just trying to figure out if I need to separate the front from the back piece. I cleaned it pretty much as you described on yours; left the extractor in place and only pulled the firing pin to clean it as well as a good overall wipe down.
I don't know who made that ar-15 BCG but that gas key is not staked very well. Looks like they missed the actual place they were supposed to hit. Those gas key bolts will unscrew with ease. Just saying…
i was curious about your 9mm bolt coating? is it Nike l boron? did you have your 9mm bolt coated? or did you buy it like that? & i so what Brand is (9mm bolt?) is it gunpoint? Thanks!
Can you remove the weight in the back of the 9mm bolt to install a JP Silent buffer spring without loosing any reliability?
