  1. While I use mostly Malkoff and Elzetta for "serious" applications I still keep a few Microstreams and Stylus Pro's. They're great lights- very compact, inexpensive and durable. The best thing about them IMO is that they fit into pen pockets!

  2. I really think the streamlight stylus pro and microstream at 90/45 lumens is about perfect for EDC. These little lights have the perfect balance of runtime and output, very tough, no fuss and simple UI. Gets any job done faster and easier than my damn 4 sevens and for way less money.

  3. I came across the new Microstream by chance as well, at a batteries+bulbs retail store. I then went on Streamlights' website, and they also made another noticeable change I thought was worthy. The Protac 1x aaa now has the same reversible type pocket clip as the Microstream. Streamlight still needs to step it up a notch, IMO. Love their simplicity, however, I think they could do better. I will say…they do have excellent run times! Nice review!
