Here is a video about the eotech 512 holographic weapon sight. This rifle sight has for many years been considered the gold standard by which other sights are measured. Its a 1 moa sight that is powered by two AA batteries. It has an awesome field of view and its nearly impossible to get tunnel vision while using it. Even though there is more competition in the market these days. The Eotech is still one of my all time favorites.

I gotta say man, that looks like a knockoff eotech, or a fairly odd model. Optics are my bread and butter, and I have yet to see ONE 512 aside from yours that looks that way, that has such a large reticle, or that has protective optics covers, that is a first for me, and I've owned and sold these things for the last 6 years.
i want one had to settle for a strikefire2, (marriage) which is awesome by the way, but you still get that thought on the back of your head about having an eotech. Ill just have to purchase it behind my wife and when she sees it she will ask "is that a new red dot?" ill ask no its the same one.

I love them too. I'm not sure what the fuss is about with the recall and people dumping them. A 4 MOA drift in a 100+ degree F temperature swing on a CQB optic with a 60 MOA reticle? Really? I got another one cheap today and I'll keep buying them all day long. If you want to ding them, I'd say it's the battery life and controls.
Do u have to re sight the gun in every time u change batteries?
