My initial impressions of the CMMG kit. An excellent option to make your AR into a cheap plinker…if everything goes right

Better mag adaptor, M&P 15 mags… Also allows for reliable lock back on empty mag or manual bolt hold open.
Get your hand off the magazine
call cmmg they replaced my chamber adaptor free if u have any probs thease folks give good service
I'm pretty sure the failure's were due to you gripping the mag. Cmmg warns do not use as rest or bind mag, can cause feeding issues. Your hand clearly is pulling mag rearward. Not as spec as a standard mag. Great piece of kit!
Yea… the Black Dog style mags don't work well with pressure on them even in dedicated .22LR guns. If I put the weight of my SIG522 on the mag, it will have feed issues. I don't have that issue with the M&P 15-22.
Christ that shoot looked painful!
Did you oil it up before using? I read others having problems like you. I lubed mine up and have never had an issue. I have put about 300 mini mags through my AR.
The SASP program that I coach for used that Federal Automatch last year and it would jam just about every 10/22 in the program.
