I do some shooting with the light, drop test the Streamlight PolyTac X and PolyTac X USB on concrete multiple times and do a beam comparison with the original PolyTac to show how far it’s come. I also discuss the features of the light, it’s construction, and what I think of it overall.

  1. Just bought one because of your video. Great light for the price point. Haven’t taken out too far but I have absolute clarity at 75 yards with my 4x scope. Perfect for my HD BCM carbine. Thanks for the review.

  3. Good vid, and I do like the light, going to put it on my S&W Sport II, for "hootch" defense gun, keep the more costly AR's in the safe…..and the rain, oh so lucky, sure would like some out here in the desert…keep up the great work!

  4. My first weapon light was with the (I think) gen 2 polytac. It had the streamlight flicker that had to be remedied, but it's still running strong on my beater rifle with no complaints other than it's a little underpowered by today's standards. I now have a polytac HP on one of my AR pistols and have no complaints other than they dont make a tapeswitch for it. Im a polytac fan for sure.

  5. Was about to pull trigger on this and wife reminded me that my average too(time of ownership) before losing a flashlight is 2 weeks. 50 dollars for two weeks of use is almost still a bargain.
