Weight = accuracy a light gun is less accurate at a long range .hold a Brome stick to yur shoulder a point at a fixed target at 400 yards then hold a 2×4 of the same length see the differences .its a trade off I rather hit my deer then miss or worse wound .i have 15 to 20 ozs heaver rife
That's why they make slings for to put on ur shoulder .i carry a 740 Remington 270 .130 grain don't mind the weight an I kill a big buck ever year .iam I love my rifle .just ask any of the Benoit brothers about Remington they all carry one an they are the best trackers in the north east .
