  1. Unless you're running night vision, or you have something on like a gas mask that prevents you from getting a traditional sight picture, lasers really are a gimmick, and training to rely on them can often leave you at a significant disadvantage. If you're going to go with any kind of a man device, a micro Red Dot is far more useful then an under mounted laser, and facilitates hits on moving targets for more easily

  2. Good video! However, ive had issues with Streamlight customer service. Had one defective rifle light (hlx 1000] and they wouldn’t stand by it. 6 months old….
I’ve switched to spending more on surefire. Buy once, cry once

  3. Another advantage to having a laser: deterrence. I had a neighbor tell me once that he heard someone trying to break into his home while he was there by trying to open a window, so he grabbed his pistol w/laser and once the would be robber saw a red dot on his chest, he ran away fast! He didn't have to pull the trigger.

  4. I think that the TORS-8 would be a great solution to the problem encountered when trying to use iron sights and a round suppressor like a Gemtech Octane.

Thanks for the review on both of them. I saw them the other day at my local gun shop but wasn’t familiar with the company. Now it’s off to go spend some more money.
