I do some shooting with the new Streamlight TLR-7, do a beam comparison with the Inforce APLc and TLR-1 HL, and go over the features of the light.

  1. Switch seems awkward but everything else seems very good to go from my research.
If I’m honest with myself I feel that in an emergency using this light I would probably activate it solely with the constant on to be able to keep my support thumb up high.

What’s the opinion on the switch?

  2. Think that's going to be the light for my Canik pistol. That or it's brother with the laser. I really like the fact that the various insets can be used to fine tune the position of the light. Great videos and keep up the good work.

  3. I'm having trouble putting that tiny washer with their provided tool. Is it important to have this washer inserted or can I just hand tight the other side and call it good?

  4. Hey guys I found an issue with the TLR-7&8 design, please put it out there. My battery kept dying and I figured out that the buttons would be depressed during carry as I use a Ramora Sticky holster. Do not use soft holsters with TLR-7 and 8's.

  5. I just received my TLR8 in the mail today from LA Police Gear. Going to install it on my wife’s new S&W Shield EZ 380 (non Safety). I think either the TLR7 or 8 makes a good weapon light for the new shield. I hope S&W releases newer versions of their other shield models with rails (9mm). 🤞

  6. Good mention of criminals vs candy bars this is definitely important for those grandma's and grandpa's who's grandchildren might be stirring in the night in the candy dish when they shouldnt be. Definitely difference between criminal and Candy Snatcher
