Just a quick overview of one of the Nikon Prostaff 5 series scopes. This particular model is a 4.5-18x with side focus and the clarity of this scope is amazing along with a very forgiving eye relief that Nikon is known for. This scope would be great for hunting as well as tactical applications as its very lightweight and doesn’t add a lot of unnecessary weight or bulk to your rifle. Hard to beat Nikon Optics for what your getting at the price point they sell at. Don’t hesitate to try one, Their good to go!

Would this b great on a 6.5 high power rifle?
good review, but put your camera on a tripod. I got motion sickness watching this. 🙂
great review. very helpful. invest in a tripod brother!
Have that same scope on a 300 ultra mag it's been great.
Dang man, you shake a lot.
Anyways excellent review, I really appreciate the Prostaff models. Excellent performance for the value.
The new vortex diamondback tactical has 70 Moa of elevation adjustment plus something like 30 Moa of holdover in the reticle. I believe this Nikon only has 55 Moa of adjustment. I do like the Nikon glass better.
But we wont look as cool w/o the $2000 scope 😉 Nikon is my favorite glass at the moment as well. Great value for what it is.
Hi! In what magnification of the scope mil dot is right?
