  1. I just purchased the p 223 1.5-4.5×20 scope due to your review. I love it. I put it on a smith and wesson mp 15-22. I went to nikon's Web site and dialed in my rounds and it gave me the bdc for my 22. very nice. I was wondering does ca ar 15 laws pertain to the 15-22 and 22 ar style rifles?

  2. I installed this same set up on my Bravo Company carbine and been shooting it for a year no problems can't justify spending any more on a high dollar scope when it hits solid at 300 yards , now friends are purchasing after shooting mine. Good review but I purchased both before I seen it.Money saved for ammo.

  3. Question sir. I have an Adams Arms flat top. But, and here is the kicker, I have a fixed A2 style front sight. How much of an obstruction would I be looking at if any with this set up or if i opt to go with the Primary Arms Deluxe AR 15 scope mount?

  4. I have this scope on my 15 and as the daily shooter said its a great scope my daughters 15 has a3x32 p223 also a nice scope and let's not forget the 10 has a 4-12×40 p308 awesome scopes and great prices

  5. Nice review, thanks! I'm probably picking up this optic for my son's M&P 15-22. I have good history with the P223 line with their 3x9x40 being the first glass I topped an AR with.

  6. I randomly had the top turret break on the p223 3-9. With no abuse whatsoever. Just spins, doesn't grip. Seemed to be too much of a hassle to send it in for warranty. Ill sell it to someone real cheap. I'm done buying cheap shit.

  7. I prefer a big objective that sucks in light and zooms out far. I use a Beileshi 6-24×50 illuminated scope with a rangefinder reticule that I got on Amazon. Best $50 i ever spent.

  8. Light weight and relatively inexpensive, yes. Good value, no! I had two P-223 Nikons. Both broke. One lost ability to hold zero and a turret retaining screw on the other scope broke. I'll never buy another Nikon scope.

  9. I got the 223 scope cannot remember which one it was $180 so guessing the one below the one you got no zoom. I got some regular rings at Gander that just are not high enough for the BUIS so I will look for these rings that look like they take care of that. Rings that were suggested I cannot even put on with the BUIS on it. My rifle is a Ruger AR556 with FSB. I think this higher site base would work better so that the FSB is out of the way. First AR I have bought in about 20 years and was low cost yet 1:8 for its 16" barrel so in theory can shoot out to 200 yards but really not more beyond that. Although the same scope will work for me when I build my upper with a 20" barrel with FF handguard.
