I needed an inexpensive and reliable scope for one of my rifles, so I purchased the Nikon Buckmaster 3-9×40 scope for $140. For the money, it seems well put together, but only time will tell.

  1. Just picked up one of these today and put it on my .308, but I haven’t shot it yet. How do you like the scope at this point in time? Any problems with it at all? The reason I ask is because I still have the receipt, haha.

  2. Hi bro! I'm from Cambodia but I need your suggestion about snip rifle, do you know where can I buy it and it's possible to delivery to my country? And also not too expensive, thanks before

  3. So some of the information I have seen online saying that buckmaster is above prostaff, however from what I have seen, buckmaster is the budget model, the power selector is not as smooth and the model sold at walmart comes in a blister pack.

  4. Nikon Rocks! I got two Monarch series, one in 4/16X50SF on my 222 rem and a 6/24X50SF on my 243 (Both are Browning. 222Rem is an A-Bolt, the 243Win is a X-Bolt with a GRS stock😇)… Aim and shoot, that's what it is. Regards from France. (Yes we have guns too).😜🇫🇷🇫🇷😜

  5. Warning- could not move anything other than turrets. Later informed by Nikon tech that scope is initially very stiff from desiccants. So don't be afraid as I was to apply more-than-expected pressure on Power Selector Ring and Eyepiece Adjustment to get those things moving. And don't mess with that misleading tiny screw on the raised knob of the Power Selector Ring- all that screw does is secure the knob to the Power Selector Ring to make magnification adjustments easier.

  6. I got one of these free, and I have plenty of complaints.  The turrets don't click in degrees, and I don't even think the measurements on the unit are in metsrs… but.. ug.. yards… can someone confirm this?    Also, after half way zooming, it doesn't zoom anymore, and I'm not sure what's going on there.  And my crosshairs are not at 90 degree angles to each other.
