  1. Bought this rifle last year. Best bang for your buck. Add a few custom accessories and you're ready to go. Be sure to get a few more 30 round clips (or larger like I did) before the liberal dips try to outlaw them. This is a pretty good review, much obliged.
Bottom line is good gun, good price. Peace out.

  2. Solid review. awesome how you own the ruger to make the comparison. The eagle arms is a sleeper budget AR (did not see many reviews out for it when doing research) for the features it comes with like you mentioned. (1/8 twist Hbar, .223 wylde chambering, forward assist, tight fit, not to mention the msrp) I've had mine for a few months. Its nothing special considering what's out there for thousands of dollars but I've put approximately 500 rounds of mostly 55gr federal .223 but up to 77 Gr Nosler SSA 5.56 through mine without a malfunction. Works as it should. Awesome choice for a first AR or for someone who would like to exercise their rights and own an AR-15 without breaking the bank. AKA College kid like myself haha.

  3. That gun is on sale right now at smga.com for $469.99 shipped. At that price point you can't beat it. The best feauture of that gun is it comes with a .223 WYLDE barrel with a 1/8" twist. I just started watching the video so if you address this my bad but is the BCG full auto or semi auto profile?

  4. nice video! do u have a vid. on oiling the eagle 15 ? i just bought mine and i know it doesnt need to get oiled i only put about 70 rounds thru it… id like to know how to do it !!!

  5. I picked up the ORC version of this ( straight flat top) it has performed very well. I through just a cheap 40 dollar red dot on it to get to the range. Fired 240 rounds flawlessly. Took about half a box to zero in the red dot, but then was hitting steel at 200 yards.

  6. Both are essentially constructed with comparable quality however the big difference is the barrels as the Eagle 15 is chambered in the hybrid .223 wylde. 223 wylde allows you to safely fire 5.56 and .223 but retaining more of the inherent accuracy of a tighter chamber found in .223 only rifles while accepting the higher pressures of 5.56 rounds. On paper you are paying less money for a rifle constructed out of the same materials, example:same grade aluminum for the receivers, as the Ruger all while reaping the benefits of a more accurate, heavier barrel.

  7. noticed this video was put out about a month ago. If shots have been fired which one do you prefer, Ruger or Armalite? Basically, in your opinion is the Ruger worth the extra money? My wife wants one but we can't afford another higher end rifle. Looking for any direction anyone can help with the lower end rifle selection. Thanks.

  8. Great video. I was after this gun but they were hard to find. End up buying the Ruger as yours. I still like the Eagle 15; will keep the eye after it this coming year. Thank you for the video.

  9. I have both rifles and they are fantastic. I'm running ALG Defense rails and ACT triggers. both guns shoot 1 moa and less. Both of mine like the Australian Outback .223 69gr Sierra Match King HPBT. Also IMI Razorcore 5.56mm 69gr SMK HPBT. You should get really good groups with the 69gr SMK HPBT ammo.
