ok nick what is your longest dot hit and area of veiw. Myself is 873yds on top of a troop hauler board plate was 3ft by 2ft. and hit spot 8 inches low so they didnt call it a spot. I call it spot on because i tapped the form mid breast bone. I have a bunch still to learn but will never give up on hitting the 1000 mark. any advise

AR-15 it's what I know and it is also lighter usually, making travel much easier and the parts/ ammo are much more commonplace

have to go with ar with a 5 in a heavy fight but the ak will still be slung on my 6 for stopping some that may have the armore that may keep them going. you need to find a mk14, a little pricey but can be barreled in many rounds.

well it depends on the way the government goes on ammo but also depends the ar15 goes further and is faster but the 762×39 is a bigger bullet and more take down power so to be honest I'm a ar guy but in end of the world I think an AK would be better but the ar 556 can also run a 223 so do you want more ammo easy to find go with the ar but more close combat and more stopping power AK is some what Better I don't own a AK just 11 ar15s but i will be buying a ak47 for a back pack bugout gun

honestly you need both, you need the accuracy of the ar but the reliability of the ak. If shit hit the fan youd want both ar so you can hit targets from far but ak cause what countries will attack us if they ever do, countries that shoot 7.62

I love both round I actually choose the 2545 87 and 100 grain bullets rather than a 5.56 or a 7.62 x 39
