I just realised this video is eight years old. Can I ask if you still think this is the best one? And how does it compare to the ProTac 90?
This looks great. Seems like a suped-up version of the Streamlight ProTac 1L-1AA that I have. It's so expensive though… £100!
Fancy light. Pretty neat. Exciting.
Nice toy for the gadgeteer!
GREAT REVIEW
Any experience using a rechargeable AA Ni-MH on this product? What would happen if I use that battery on this headlamp?
You‘re talking about „Power“ by Max. 60 Lumen? 😂
I clicked the link you have on the description but I am confused with the different style codes. Style 14514 and Style 14512. They have a diffferent price and I don't know why. Do you know the difference between these 2 styles? Thanks.
Great product but in 2017 any idea of low cost option with AA battery ?
The only nice thing about this light is that it got IR, red and blue light but the brightness is really bad. I will stick with my Zebralight H52. If i need a IR strobe i will just buy one. 55 lumens is way to low.
I've images of troops with this unit clipped to their helmets in the Sandbox. I figure if it will survive them, surely it will survive me!
Around 26:00 in video you mention that streamlight didn't mention the use of an AA battery… But the sheet you held up near the start of the video listing estimated hours of light showed the use of AA batteries.
Awesome video !!! Awesome product!
What do they cost$$?
Ordered mine the other day. Should be here tomorrow.
Thanks. It looks and sounds very good, I will go and have a look at them.
God you yammer on too much. Get to the friggin point ! ! ! !
Aww i'd get it if it was AA
While I agree that he quality and feature set is impressive. I think that any "best prepper flashlight" need to take an AA battery.
Great review Ferfal. I'd much rather see a quality 35 minute video like this, than a rushed 5 or 6 minute video. I liked your suggested upgrades too, and one I'd like to see more of, is some sort of ability to recharge the batteries while in the housing. Have a port to plug into and hook to a small solar panel during the day. A little off topic here, can you do a review on that little orange flashlight you had in your survival kits I seen in a video? Also, are you still making and selling those kits? I looked on your site, but I couldn't find them. Thanks and keep up the great work.
why the heck is this item like more than £100 in the UK…?
Great review! I prefer the cr123 batteries…….more output and long shelf life. The AA is more common tho….
I agrre with you now. It looks like the best flashlight
