No argument here. From a practicality standpoint, a 5.56 AR is king. I love my AK, M1A, and AR10 but a 5.56 AR is what Iām grabbing if I could only have one.

Any recommendations, preferences or special considerations you have for your weapon lights? I've been running an Olight Odin on my primary GPR for several years but the pressure pab has started having some reliability issues and I'm considering upgrading and swapping it out with a Surefire Protac but I haven't pulled the trigger on that yet. What sort of specs or standards do you looks for in a WML for your GPR?
Also, what's you're cleaning and general maintenance kit look like for your SHTF loadout?
