This is an overview of a few different optic riser mounts I have tested or used. This is not an in depth review of each riser, but the pros and cons of each height. These are good options that are cheap, that will allow you to test out which you like best, before buying the real deal.

I came to a similar conclusion. I just got a .5 upper length riser and mounted my red dot and magnifier to that because I didn't want to guess at finding the right height for the red dot and the magnifier separately. I liked that better with nods than the superhigh unity height.
I couldn't wait for your video and bought a Phoking riser. First twos a little cockeyed, so I'm gonna exchange them until Amazon tells me to pound sand.
The weak spot in most of those is the cheap fasteners, you can order legit bolts/fasteners from McMaster/Carr or even Ace hardware for a couple bucks and they won’t strip. YKK fasteners are dumpster juice

We used those airsoft NVG riser mounts in Ukraine they are just a block of aluminum and if you paid $180 for a small block of aluminum you got scammed
