In this Installment Ryan Jeske shows you where his Streamlight TLR-1 has failed. The battery compartment will no longer latch closed, the switch does not function and the light will not turn on. We are not making this video to bash on the product, we actually like the product and would like to have it repaired or replaced.
Sadly, In his quest to fix this light Ryan tried to contact Streamlight via email, but was unable to locate any direct email addresses to their company. So here is my message to Streamlight which will be sent via their webpage form along with a link to this video!

To Whom It May Concern,
My Streamlight TLR-1 is damaged and I would like assistance, I tried to locate a Product Support Email Address but was unable to do so.
Email is important to me because I can make a quick video showing you everything you need to know, send it off and wait for the response on how to fix it. When I am forced to use an automated system it ALWAYS turns into days worth of back and forth with me having to call in and explain the situation anyway. I don’t have time for this back and forth, nor the capacity to keep track of numerous inquiries like this going on constantly at one time.

This just happened to me after a training class.
Had the door hinge of my TLR-1HL to break and fall off while stored in the gun cabinet. May 2years old and barely used. If the replacement is like the old one, then maybe I don’t want the light on my gun.
Same shit happened to my TLR-1 HL right out of the box. I had a custom holster made for this stupid ass thing too. I learned my lesson never ever will I buy another Stream light. I will only purchase Surefire from now on.
Did you ever get a resolution to your problem? I appear to be having a similar issue with my TLR1

I bought a new TLR-1 HL. I had it for a whole day, when I opened the battery compartment the connectors broke off. I have to wait till Monday to contact them about the issue.
There is a place on there website to order a new battery door like 10$. Just replace the one on mine. They shipped it super fast and only takes a minute to replace.
Same thing happened to mine. The plastic on the switch cap seems to be prone to fatigue failure. Ordered a new tail cap for $10 and installed it and good to go for another 5years or 5k rounds. whichever comes first.

Those doors always looked like a weak spot to me. I have never had one brake but, I know some folks have. I believe Big Johnson had one or two brake. They sent him the parts.
