  1. Leupold BX2 10×40’s are outstanding. I just went to Bozeman, went thru Yellowstone for 2 days and used Vortex Hd 10×42’s which are also excellent. The clarity is remarkable. But when I returned I bought the Leupold’s and they as well have a lifetime warranty as well as being on sale at Cabelas for $209. The sharpness is astoundingly good, I believe better than the Vortex HD’s. I bowhunt for elk and will be very happy with these out west.

  2. Kind of a glaring flaw in the review to jump from 40 to 150 immediately. I don't want to spend either of those amounts, I'm looking for an average in the middle of that.

  3. I have the bushnell bone collector 10 x 42, I’m not a fan of bushnell. Although for the price I thought they were pretty good. A friend of mine lone me his and they were light and easy to carry. I thought they were also pretty clear. I wish I would of seen this video before I made my decision to buy them. I’m still very happy with them. Maybe I can sell them and upgrade. Thanks for the great video!

  4. Would be helpful to soak these a bit to see which are actually waterproof. Also hard to not include vortex diamondback, just bought a pair would have like to seen where they line up. Thanks for the review, guys.

  5. Good call on the Leups. $250 is a tough bracket, close enough to the $400 bracket to warrant minor consideration for something like Maven for a serious bino investment. For a hardcore bino guy, prob be tough to satisfy them with a $250 set. For the rest of us, those Leups are a great value.

  6. Instead of the Acculon I think you should have tried the pro-staff by Nikon when comparing these. They're designed closer to the same and around the same price point. Also, when it comes to comparing you should mention the warranty. We all know Vortex has the VIP warranty and I'm not sure if the others have any warranty

  7. I have the Vortex Diamondback 10×28 binoculars. They run about $150 and I really like them. They light and compact which makes them great for hunting, plus they helped me spot a lot of deer this year. One of those deer was over 500 yards away, laying down. So they do work. Are they as good as a $1,000 pair of binoculars? No. But then I don't need a $1,000 pair of binoculars.

  8. Buy the 3 you think you like on Amazon and return the ones you dont. No gas no driving take your time check them in multiple light situations. At least you know where to start. Even get same pair in different magnifications.

  9. I found a New Old Stock of Winchester WL-1050WR for
Canadian $40 (US$32/£25) which came in its original
packaging including a Steel Box, A Nylon Pouch and all the
    straps.
I couldn't find any details of Winchester Binoculars online – I
know that they are a now defunct Ammunition company from
USA famous for their rifles and also made rifle scopes.
The box and the documentation state
    "Winchester is a
registered trademark of Olin Corporation. Winchester Optics
are distributed in North America by Vanguard (USA) Inc.
I know Vanguard makes some pretty decent mid range binos.
What are your thoughts about this purchase of $40
    Canadian?
    Here are some specs:
Porro Prism (Ofcourse from the looks )
    10×50
    Eye relief: 11mm
    Exit Pupil: 5mm
    Angle of view: 6.7 degrees
Field of view: 351 feet at 1000 yards
    Weight: 1.87 Ibs

  10. how they perform in low light for me and the clarity is utmost importance for hunting. Leupold doesn't stand behind their bino's like thier gold ring rifle scopes. Pleanty of light any cheaper bino's will do. Vortex vipers are minimum 500 bucks, the diamondback and crossfire is below the viper. The Viper and up objective lenses are coated to prevent light from being deflected off the lense for a better transmission in the prism inside the binocular.

  11. Just watched your video. I ordered the Amazon binoculars for $27 same day delivery and WOW! I can’t believe how much better than the cheap ones my wife bought me years ago. I rarely use my binoculars, and for the price, I’m super impressed. I subscribed! Thanks!

  12. They have no idea what they are talking about i have a pair of those Carson Binoculars they are JUNK
when you look through them they have a lot of CA in them spend a little more money and get a pair
    of Nikon Monarch 5

  13. I have Leupold Marksman 10×42. ~10% less than BX2. Got new for $100. They are very nice and plenty adequate but definitely not impressive. So I wouldn't consider anything that isn't at least similar.

  14. No offence but I wonder if you guys even know how to use a bino and how they work, as not one word is lost on the subject and you don't show anything. I didn't hear any needed technical term like Exit Pupil (in regard to eye placement and low light performance) Light Transmission (hazy view) Porro/Roof Prism (form factor/quality/price) Field of View.

  15. I am now in my fifth month of trying to get my faulty BX-3 binos repaired/replaced by Leupold. No allegation of mistreatment on my part. The binos just failed , like Leupold customer service. Call these people, and you'll think you're talking to your college kid's stoned roommate.

  16. Enjoy your reviews guys. I looked thru half a dozen binocs at Academy couple years ago, and was really impressed with the optics in the Redfield Rebel. It listed for about 159 bucks, but they ran a half price sale and I got them for $85. For the price, their clarity is amazing. This was my third season using them and still have no desire to replace them. Not too heavy and good low light image. Keep the interesting reviews and humor coming.
