Magpul M-Lok Handstop Kit

I don’t need an explanation of how mlok works, I need a video showing how to install the hand guard.

What is it with youtubers… The first two minutes of the video they just keep repeating themselves over and over and over and over and over and over and over and they talk about nothing until they get to the contact of the actual video to which by the time they do I’ve lost interest and grow in the full beard….

I switched to the Handstop because I was having trouble resting my rifle on a bench, backpack, or bag with the Vertical Foregrip. It would make my rifle very unstable and I would have to do some weird positioning with my offhand to mount it to a surface. But with the handstop kit I am able to mount my rifle to any flat surface easy as fuck.

Per the directions. Use the 3 "stand alone" pieces are for metal hand guards. The long piece, that basically makes it all one piece, is for polymer hand guards. There are also 2 sets of different length screws. 3 screws for each set. The 3 shorter ones are for the stand alone pieces.

This is really late in the game BUT, after watching the below vid, I have had no problems with installing MLOK accessories:

The texture on the handstop and covers is way too rough for my preference. It’s like sandpaper and tbh I prefer the straight metal. Any way you guys recommend fixing the problem? Tape? Other brands? Sanding it down?

These instructions are incorrect. Read the directions which come with the product!
