  1. On most optics don’t you move the POI to the reticle? Not move the reticle to the POI? I’ve seen multiple people review the Monstrum and say it’s reversed but when they explain there zeroing methods it sounds a bit off.

  2. This guy is obviously in love with himself! and knows a little more than zero about prism and how they work! Its a part of his bias Lol! You are x military? Somehow I think you did massive k.p recon!

  3. I've tried to use multiple red dots with my astigmatism but all I see are Starbursts. As a guy with the stigmatism the only 1X sight I've been able to use has been the vortex 1X prism for ARs. That's who this sight is for.

  4. Too bad the Sig optic looks ridiculous lol. One little rail is fine for mounting an RMR (like on the Primary arms 3x and 5x). But I don't want my optic to look like an early 2000's Knights quad rail handguard.. lol

  5. My vision sucks and these prism scopes are the best. I have a Burris 5x with a red dot offset and it’s the best of all worlds. Red dot for up close when accuracy isn’t as important, then roll the gun back up and use the 5x for longer range stuff. The clarity and eye relief on these to me is a lot better than LPVOs that I’ve used, and the reticle clarity is much better for me than a red dot. They’re also much lighter weight than LPVOs generally speaking. Love these prism optics

  6. I have a holosun 510 with a magnifier and used a buddy’s Trijicon ACOG…. wish I never did. My astigmatism totally blurrs out the reticle on the 510 and knew it but didn’t realize how bad until using his setup. Kinda bummed I did now I’m optic shopping yet again…

  7. Most zeroing indicators on knobs/turrets/screws generally reflect moving POI, not reticle images. You also have your prisms mounted in a weird spot because you are keeping BUIS mounted. Also, if you wanted to know about third-gen Primary Arms illumination, Dimitri and Marshall have commented extensively about the new LED tech on various forums.

  8. Makin a joke out astigmatism is obnoxious considering it's incredibly common. If you have a stigmatism a 1x magnified scope will focus the image close to your eye hence being able to see it clearly. Regular scope does the same thing. No magnifying like red dot or holo sight won't do that… So… Yeah. A lot stigmatism are from reading a lot. Perhaps u should read more and you would know that instead of making multiple jokes bout it.

  9. I have a bad astigmatism and red dots work fine as log as it is a small dot, I do get a star view of the dot but that has never been an issue. I cannot use holographic sights though the blur is really bad and my glasses don't help.

  10. I have the Vortex Spitfire 1x because like you said, prisms work great for people with astigmatisms which I have. Also, you guys have the sights set way up on the end of the upper receiver like you would a typical red dot. Prisms don't work that way. You need to move them further back towards your eyes since they work more like a traditional scope. Mine is set that when I shoulder my rifle and bring it up, I can see perfectly through the sight with no black areas inside.

  11. At 4:22 You say that you have a 2x monstrum and it seems to have just a circle and dot retical but when I look up the 2x version I get a cut up circle and a plus sign in the middle type retical. So did they change up the retical from the time this was made, and if so can I just buy your Cause even then I can't seem to find anyone selling one now beside the 3x version.

  12. I love you guys. Your videos are entertaining if nothing else. Let me know if you ever need someone with an astigmatism (who can also spell it) to help with your reviews. Remember, hire the handicapped…we're fun to watch 😀

  13. The main reasoning I see with having a 1x prism vs red dot or reflex optics is that, with red dots and reflexes, you need to replace batteries. With prism scopes, you get the benefit of always having a reticle and not needing any backup sights.
