  1. I'm sorry I am not normally one to complain about your videos but you have to test flashlights at night. That is kind of a must. That would be like testing a hammer but never hitting a nail with it.

  2. The reason I didn't buy is because of a response from someone on this light. "It’s pretty resistant to water but if it’s submerged for longer than a brief moment, you can expect some damage."

  3. A decent light that I like is the coast poly steel 650r it’s ipx8 water resistant up to 3 meters for 6 hours I believe it’s got a steel core with a poly-nylon injection molded handle and it’s focusable with 3 modes high medium and low not to mention it comes with a rechargeable pack that doubles as a power bank to charge your phone and it comes with a 4 AA Battery carrier so if you didn’t want to use the rechargeable pack or you forgot to put it on the charger

  4. You're going to want that front plate on your you carrier all the way to the top of your sternum. That's how it supposed to be worn. I love your videos, keep making great content.

  5. Hey Cody ,I have picked up a few of these new gen Survivors and absolutely love them for most every application, I have been running Energizer Lithiums in them ,the specs do not call for this but I do prefer the lightweight cells and not having to worry as much about leaving them stored, I work in EMS SAR and have not ran this tool as long as you have. Do you run alkaline or lithium in this tool, I do not work in a firefighter's capacity, but in a similar field.

  6. Loving the content but i must correct you.. At the start Metallica is written Metalica.. not so serious but as a big fan of that band it was like a stick in to eyeball 😀 Anyways really nice content and i really like the fact that you dont take sponsors and keep the content true to the viewers.. No marketing bullshittery or any shady things like 90% of tool/equipment rewiews and tests on youtube. Im really sorry about my poor english but greetings from Finland and may god bless your family and all of your loved ones !

  7. As someone who loves your videos more than probably anyone one else on youtube and someone who watches way more than I should, I am obsessed with preparedness, knowing what you have and having quick access and all that, just a small suggestion for these videos, which are 10/10 keep up the good work, would be to either put a keyword in the title for videos like this or even make a separate playlist so they're all in one place or a quick search will bring them all up. Like I said I love the channel overall I watch at least three of your videos a day and plan to watch all 2300 over time. Much love from South Carolina brotha!!

  8. while these flashlights are robust when it comes to cqc I would rely on a flashlight mounted on my gun… if your light is on your chest your arms and gun will obstruct it when shouldering… I would rather have my weapon drawn and my sights on the target with a light from my rail targeting the attacker.

  9. Those lantern style lights are the best for hands-free lighting. The canisters the AA are loaded into are an adapter as the lights are designed to house C batteries. Same brightness (voltage) but much longer run time. But if a guy was real clever, he would use the adapter and carry an extra one that is preloaded so that the light could be reloaded blind in the dark. The batteries would already be in the correct orientation. Like a mag for your guns
