Yes, I know. Your probably thinking that I’m an idiot for buying an Eotech EXPS for an airsoft gun, but I bought it for the future when I get into real steel firearms which will be pretty soon. So in the mean time I get to mount this optic on airsoft guns to get used to it.
Do I have fears of it getting shot? I’m aware that the chances of the Eotech getting shot out is higher due to it’s larger window for wide field of view, but the chances of a bb striking the glass is quite low and even if there is damage I’m pretty sure the Eotech warranty could cover it.

eotech is mil spec. you wont have to worry about bbs breaking it. if something does happen, contact eotech and they will give you excellent customer support.

If it does eotech will replace it free of charge. I use my own eotech and I got a free replacement.
whats the point of showing off an eotech without any shots of the reticle? If you're going to show glamour shots of it with strangely erotic music and slo-mo fades, at least give us that. Well, either that or a hot girl holding the gun.

@JEAirs0ft I actually can afford it but I am not going to buy one when I can spend the money on things that will actually help me, I'm not saying it won't help but it won't help enough to pay $400 for it for AIRSOFT, I can understand buying it for Military or competition shooting but come on… I bet you won't even use it you'll just watch your BB's and aim down the barrel.

I use an EOTech for airsoft, too. (512, though)
BTW, as long as it's an authentic EOTech HWS, then EOTech will be able to fix any problems you have with it.
I also fashioned a non-image-distorting lens protector out of plexy glass. Other lens protectors that fit under sight's hood distort the image, which slows down target aquisition and makes magnification use impossible.
