  1. I hate to be critical of your Video,But telling people to just build the Guns then use one bolt to swap out between all your rifles is kind of dangerous is it not,as headspace will be different on them all,you might get away with that for a while if you used all brand new barrels and they headspaced with a new bolt,But you need to let them know that or bubba the wanna be Gunsmith may start using one bolt on all his used barreled ones or ones he builds with used parts kits and used BCG,s,With all New parts you can swap a bolt around,But personally I do not think its a good practice unless all barrels are from the same manufacturer, same steel etc as different manufacturers barrels chambers may wear out faster than others also causing headspace issues at random intervals that will blow up the gun if your not continually checking each manufacturers barrel for headspace with that bolt your swapping around from gun to gun.Its best just to build the gun right and buy a BCG for each gun and leave it with that rifle.

  2. I carried an M16A1 (I think!) for years while in the USAF. Never remembered , nor do I care if my look alike is not exactly the same as an authentic M16XX. Delta ring straight or flared, never noticed. Remember 3 prong changed to bird cage early 80's while I was in USAF.
I am not a collector, and am I am not a forum whore spouting off my superior knowledge on era-correct parts. They look cool just "looking" like the M16XX.

  3. Mrtec.
It depends on the ammo you use if the Shorty's work or not.
    I have a xm177 with a11.5 its from 1990 it works grate.
And with the right loads its grate for home defence. The 50-55 gr. Tipped varment ammo from a bunch of manufactur. In gell they normally make wounds in the 6-7 in. Wide By about 9-11 in deep. And they brake up on walls.

  4. Hi, you inspired me to buy (build) my first ever AR15… One question, what sort of accuracy can you expect from this? I want an AR that will shoot at least 2 MOA…
