Burris P.E.P.R. QD Scope Mount Review – Scout Tactical

The Burris PEPR mount is a great all around AR type scope mount. It is rock solid, doesn’t seem to loose zero when removed, weighs only about 8oz, and is priced right at normally around $75 to $100.

  1. Thank you for this review. You gave me all the details that I needed. I just ordered this exact mount for my M&P Sport 2. I've read lots of reviews and the positives are resounding so I believe this will be perfect for my rifle. I paid $78, or $83 and some change w/tax. That's a good value for a solid QD mount. Thanks again. Stay safe out there.

  2. I must admit… I was initially reluctant about taking this video seriously based on the intro. I assumed it was going to be another redneck on You Tube. But your video turned out to be extremely well done, entertaining, and informative. Thank you for taking the time to make this wonderful review. I went ahead and picked up one of these mounts and dropped it onto my .300 Blackout. Works like a champ. Thanks for producing this video, sir. Ive liked and subscribed. Looking forward to seeing more of your videos. Peace.

  3. Thanks for the review! Going to pair this Burris P.E.P.R. QD with the Primary Arms 1-6x24mm Gen III ACSS 5.56 for my M&P Sport 2 after I float the barrel.

  4. Got this mount for a nikon p223 4-12×40 scope on my first AR. I had to remove the magpul rear flip up sight for leveling, there was nowhere else on the rifle to place a level. So I leveled the rifle and leveled the scope, put the rear sight back on but when I shouldered the rifle, the reticle was just a little off. Repeated this a few times with same result. So I've come to the conclusion that while leveling everything is important, what matter most is that the rifle is level in the position you will be holding it. I probably only had to turn the scope 1/8 of an inch to get there but now when I shoulder the rifle the reticle looks correct. Am I doing it wrong this way? I still have to go to the range and zero in the scope. Thanks.

  5. Thank you for your service and courage to help protect your community. Now that you all have open carry in Texas I wonder how the police feel about it? Open carry in Arizona is a normal everyday thing, nobody bats an eye at the sight of a holstered gun on a persons belt unless it's a high point in a floppy uncle mikes holster but I know also that many mops are pro gun even in very strict regions of our country. How are the police dealing with the change?

I really like your video and I just bought my second Pepr mount, it makes zero sense to spend more money on anything else.

  7. Why does nobody show how the QD works? Why pay for the QD if you're not able to take it off and put it back on your rifle and hold zero? Follow up video showing the QD feature would be good.

  8. How well does it return to zero after its been removed? I am trying to decide between this and the AD scout mount. The price has me leaning toward this but I hear the AD returns to zero very reliably. I shoot with my irons a lot, so it holding zero is important to me.
