  1. I'm new to AR's and own a saint, only other AR I own had a flat top and optics ready. I thought I would enjoy having the Irons when i bought the saint, but quickly realized the canted irons I have on my other optics-ready AR fitted with a red dot works better for me anyway. So, in short, is there a way to remove the Whole A2 front sight entirely?

  2. Please tell me that little nut you screwed on is what is known as a Ny-Lok nut.. If that is just a regular nut without a nylon thread locking insert or a crimped rim than this is fucking asking for the day when your front sight launches itself into the Netherworld. And if irons are your primaries you're pretty much SOL.

  3. another review said the spring went up into the bottom of sight and they had to bend a coil to keep it from doing so. Also, when sighted in the front of the sight (the side you look at when shooting) stuck up above the metal surrounding it and could be damaged with a hit to the front sight area. Is this an issue for you? Seems like if you push on the bottom of the nut, the whole sight would push up? The spring is only thing holding it down against the adjustment screw.
