  1. I use Holosun red dot sights on most of my AR-15's and love them. The only area where Aimpoint may have an edge is the water resistance is greater on the Aimpoints. Truth be told, I don't ever expect to keep my rifles under 3' of water for 30 minutes, and all Holosun sights can handle that. By the way, at least one Holosun model can go much deeper.

  5. I love Holosun. They work in any condition a civilian would find themselves including WROL and following a natural disaster. I don't understand why people spend more on AimPoint. The military uses it? Don't care.

  7. Hey TNP Crew! I am looking at the Holosun 502c vs Aimpoint PRO. Any input on 2 VERY similar optics? I am leaning towards the Holosun but worry about durability and ruggedness. Should I be worried about Chinese built vs Sweedish?

  11. Just bought the 510c last monday to put on my 870. haven't really "used" it yet, but so far i love the way it handles. I honestly cannot justify buying a tube style red dot anymore if a windowed type is available with same/similar features. I might even move it over to my RFB.

    I've been waiting quite a while for a reputable brand to come out with a ring and dot style reticle…you know one that doesn't cost me a kidney and isn't from a manufacturer that hid known defects from our military.

  12. I bought one while I saved for a trijicon because of your previous review. I now no longer have an interest in the trijicon. I use one on my patrol rifle at work and previously had it on my KSG. They work great and have held up so far.

  14. i have this sight on my shotgun. its a stoeger m3k, and i had to add a rail to the receiver. super for 3 gun, steel targets. the circle dot reticle is the best. you need cheek risers on your stocks.

  24. Question. Speaking of aim point, does TNP have any Japanese viewers? It would be interesting to hear what the few people in Japan who like the idea of the right to guns are doing (if anything) to try and relax their gun restrictions.
