1. Set barrel nut torque attachment 90 degrees to your torque wrench shaft. 2. Use moly lithium grease on barrel nut threads. 3. Tighten nut to 30 ft lbs, then back off, then repeat 3 times, finally torquing to desired timing position on the 3rd try, this seasons the threads. 4. If you are a stickler for perfection, hold upper with reaction rod instead of upper vise. This transfers torque directly to to the steel barrel extension and not the aluminum upper receiver. 5. Lap the face of the upper receiver around threads if you want a completely square and true attachment to barrel nut. 4 times out of 5 you dont need to do that, though.
Include these in your next video, and you will achieve a milspec rating.

You had your torque wrench in wrong position should have been at 90 degrees.
