  1. Thanks for uploading this video. I wonโ€™t even pay attention until now. After watching this, I went through all my Colt upper receivers and found one have different thickness on both rear sides. And it was unopened and sealed until my inspection. I am going to call Colt mfg to replace this type of quality issue. Thanks for bringing it to my attention. Gosh. Keep up the good work. Brotha!

  2. Are all uppers alittle bit uneven or should they be exactly centered? Just looked at my M4E1 upper and it seems the right side is a tiny bit thicker then the left as of the cutout is off to the right side just a bit

  3. You ever going to offer a set of plug gauges that you use? I know I could go out and buy all of them but it would be so much easier if someone offered a complete set. ๐Ÿ™‚ Thanks for all the interesting content.

  4. Sorry. I know this is an upper video, but I had a not quick question about the installation of the forward takedown pin, spring, and detent. Now while I haven't seen every manufacturer's lower, all of the ones I have seen have a tiny hole in the…uhhh… spring seat. I'm guessing it was put there to let water/dirt out or put lube in. While some make a tool and everyone else has a hack for the installation, most come with the warning "be careful or you will launch your detent to the same place one of your socks goes after laundry, never to be seen again".
Anyway, after I had assembled mine, I think I used the razor blade hack, for some reason I took a flashlight and looked in that tiny hole. Sure enough I could see the spring. So here is my question…If you get a small gauge needle, compress the spring with a punch, insert the needle into the hole between the punch and spring, remove the punch, drop in the detent on top of the needle, insert takedown pin, then remove the needle, everything springs into place, and the people who make the installation tools cry? Just had to ask. Love your channel๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ

  5. Do you happen to have a resource of all of the proper min-max BCG and receiver extension headspacing measurements? There are a lot of tools you have that Iโ€™d love, but perhaps knowing the dimensions can help me get by on certain things without actually have the job specific tools. The one I want the most is the extractor tooth gauge. Choice!

  6. This channel reminds me a bit of Small Arms Solutions. Tons of excellent detailed information but oh so dry. Donโ€™t get me wrong I really like both channels and am subbed to both. They are both all business. The funniest thing Chris Bartocci ever said on his channel was, โ€œI have no sense of humour.โ€ He was serious but I laughed pretty hard when he said it.

  7. hi my bolt cracked at the area around where the cam pin hole is almost all the way through . what would cause such a thing and what would have or could have happened if it didnt decide to wrap it up and go home . (i didnt see the crack until i cleaned it
