Would the pws long stroke piston system be more quiet than the pof short stroke piston suppressed?
0:56 same
Can a piston driven AR and a DI use the same bolt carrier group ?
Even stoner patent admitted its not a. True direct impingement system its more or less a piston system
I have a Barrett Rec 7 Gen 2 piston rifle. It’s cool but the mechanical action feels a little different from a DI rifle. I like that it stays cleaner and bolt stays cool. And hey…….it’s a Barrett 😃 can’t be all bad.
so, do all piston ARs beat up optics??
I wish I could get my piston system in my Ar 10 to run reliably 😒 I’ve tired different ammo and mags still having failure to feeds
That AK firing scene with the mask, tho! LOL
great channel full of knowledge and not afraid to back it up.
I have yet to fire a DI ar-15 in my life (and I've tried a lot of times) to fire more than ten rounds consecutively without jamming.
I've heard every excuse under the sun. Oh the ammo's bad! Oh it's dirty! Oh I need to replace a spring! Oh it's got the wrong buffer weight in it! Oh this and oh that!
Yet you hand me an M14 with the bone stock gas piston in it, and I can feed it whatever random junk ammo I have and it always goes bang… every single time.
Really enjoying Eric's physical presentation of the examples as Chad explains them
Let's keep Joe Biden from taking away our AR's
M27 enters chat
that thin tube floating so always makes me wonder how its never damaged. also, why did they not use the puck system when making the pistol calibre AKs and ARs?
What’s the gun on the wall directly in between you guys that looks like a futuristic ak?
Clean your guns you’ll be fine
DI vs. Piston system. I say why not both?
Thank you for BEING intelligent human beings I love you! I 💘
That's DGI… no DI
Kisi bhai ko Desi katta pistol chahie to sampark Karen 9050864266
Do you guys recommend after-market piston kits for a suppressed 300 blk pistol to remedy "gas in the face", or are there better ways to solve this problem?
I still 100 percent think the best meltdown video was the vepr so hard to kill that thing I own 10 AR-15s and only one ak I had a norinco mak 90 before and after seeing how much better the vepr was it’s like comparing a tank to a Volkswagen Beetle the vepr being the tank I think it’s probably the most over built ak47 in the USA so glad I got mine one month before the ban even though it’s really just a shortened rpk I consider it the best
DI has caused American soldiers to die in the Vietnam battlefield.
And that's why I like bolt guns.
DI can easily clogged by fired gunpowder residue
Use synthetic car oil on the bolt and the receiver and it will run just fine.
Great Vid keep up the good work guys
My humble opinion
If you have a 5.56MM or 6.8SPC Rifle. A DI will do just fine.
The only piston rifle I have fired apart from the AK is a SCAR 17 (.308) (Note I rented one at the range I do not own one).
But this is just me.
Find you someone who gives you the type of support Eric gives when Chad is first explaining DI vs piston operations. The facial expressions too! hahaha.
That’s why I am very proud of the T91 used by the Taiwanese military! It fixed most of the quirks of Piston Driven system.
Hey guys there's a baseball bat wrapped in barbed wire hanging on the wall right behind you…
So why don't we just start calling Indirect Impingement?
HE DID WHAT IN HIS CUP???
Bottom line for me:
1) 1000 rounds dirty DI AR 15=more than ONE HOUR of cleaning and scraping.
2) 1000 rounds or MORE piston AR15=15 minutes clean time. Max. Only TWO minutes clean time for upper and lower. Wipe and re oil.
Superlative Arms patented off gassing piston system with suppressor=QUIETER and less gas in face.
Conclusion: SA piston kit. No brainer.
I would love to see a collaboration between y'all and Inrange TV. I think Eric needs to get a lesson in French firearms from Gun Jesus..
"poops in its own mouth" caught me off gaurd. Good analogy though
Get both have fun
I like both these guys, seems like Eric is letting chad talk more, he used to try to hog the attention I felt like. I like chad a lot, wouldn’t mind him having his own channel, or just doing more vids here on his own, or at least leading them.
